* Behind Garments*Apostle Isaac Ayodele Adeleke The line of thought that I want to write about is for both leaders and members alike. When we receive this revelation it will equip us with the eagle eye of discernment to see from the physical or material to the spiritual or immaterial realm. *Revelation 1:13* And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, *clothed with a garment down to the foot* , and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.Daniel 7:9I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, *whose garment was white as snow,* and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.Clothes or garments are real. The Almighty God invented clothes and clothing line before humanity discovered it and improved on it. Clothing is both an art and a science. *Genesis 3:21* Unto Adam also and to his wife did *the LORD God make coats of skins* , and *clothed them.* Psalms 104:2 *Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment:* who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:Someone said, “you dress the way you want to be addressed” Unknown The dress, apparel or garment you wear will determine your acceptance, rejection or favour or disfavour. *Song of Solomon 4:11* Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; *and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.* Your complexion will influence your preference for the colour of garment that you wear.Your complexion will give you a name without your permission.Genesis 25:25And *the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment;* and they *called his name Esau.* Isaiah 63:2Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and *thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?* There’s occupational garment e.g. Priestly garment, Lawyers garment, Doctors garment, Nursing garment, Fire-fighter’s garment, etc. The purpose of this garment and its use is for ones occupation, it is worn in the course or line of duty.*Psalms 133:2*It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: *that went down to the skirts of his garments;* They’re to cover our nakedness.It is for glory and glorious appearance or manifestation. It’s to provide honour.It’s for beauty.However, there are certain clothes one must never wear because of what it portend.When such clothes come on the body, it oozes out curses, Psalms 109:18As he *clothed himself with cursing* like as with *his garment, so let it come into his bowels* like water, and like oil into his bones.Some other garments when worn oozes out barrenness, it is the reason for mysterious hyper hormonal activity, low sperm count, miscarriage, loss of conception, blocked womb, ovarian cyst among others. For others, whenever this garment is worn it serves as a landing platform for closed doors, filthiness or embarrassment. Furthermore, garments can emit the radiation of delay, delayed blessing, denied blessing, forfeited blessing, substituted blessing, among others. When it is not properly addressed, it leads to unanswered questions, frustration, depression and such likes. This is the reason why many blessings are held back resulting in protracted or chronic unemployment, acidic poverty, etc. The question we should honestly and objectively ask ourselves is what dress, clothing, garment am I putting on?. Garments can limit or hinder the one wearing it from exiting a level and crossing over to another better or higher level. For a change of level there must be a change of garment. *Examples* :Solomon1 Kings 1:33-40, 46 The king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon:And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel: and blow ye with the trumpet, and say, God save king Solomon.Then ye shall come up after him, that he may come and sit upon my throne; for he shall be king in my stead: and I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, Amen: the LORD God of my lord the king say so too. As the LORD hath been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord king David.So Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon king David’s mule, and brought him to Gihon.And Zadok the priest took an horn of oil out of the tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet; and all the people said, God save king Solomon.And all the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them.And also Solomon sitteth on the throne of the kingdom.Elisha *1 Kings 19:19* So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and *cast his mantle upon him. *2 Kings 2:12* And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. Clothing line come on and off based on season, hence the clothes that is worn in one season may not be worn in another season. It is my earnest prayer that the clothing, apparel or garment that can’t stand the test of time be taken off you as you receive that which can and will support your present and future. *Isaiah 51:6* Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished. *Isaiah 51:8* For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
